Sino-Soviet Council (1955-1967)

This committee will be the meeting of members of the cabinets of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the People's Republic of China, the first meeting taking place in January 1955. This committee will follow the sociopolitical relations of these two great nations during an imperative time in world history. The committee will be, in part, crisis-based, but will predominantly focus on inter-council relations as the cabinets of these two nations navigate international affairs.

Hi everyone! I'm (in denial that I'm) a senior here at Duke! I am an avid Duke basketball fan, and I study Consumer Psychology and Marketing on the side. I'm very excited to be participating in my eighth and final DUMUNC (four as a delegate, four as a staff member). Despite the amount of time I spend doing MUN, my real passion is in the entertainment industries, leading me to work for a student-run record label at Duke, off-Broadway theatre in New York, and record label in Nashville. I look forward to working with you all! If you have any questions, feel free to email me at rls53@duke.edu.
